Why do you need a fence sign?


The fence sign program is a means by which the UKCYBA raises money to support
its field improvements, purchase equipment and support its activities.

What are fence signs?

Fence signs are made of sign grade plywood (MDO) displaying your company’s logo
and other pertinent advertising.  They are 4’ x 8’ for a Parking Lot Fence or Home
Run Fence location at the Cle Elum Memorial Park Four Plex Baseball/Softball
Fields.   Contact fundraising coordinator for sign specifications and artwork.

What kind of exposure do the fence signs get?

The fence signs are hung in April before the start of the baseball season, and
remain through the summer and fall baseball seasons.  Hundreds of people look at
these signs every year.

What does this cost?

There are two levels of fence sign sponsorship:
1.        The Field Ownership:  For the game winner sponsor, the 10 year Field
Ownership entitles you to a fence sign that will be place on the backstop of one of
the four fields.  It also includes your name on the scoreboard. During the baseball
season and during tournaments your field will be referenced in the news paper,
channel 40, and game schedules on the Internet as your field.   The cost is $10,000.  
A payment option of $5,000 due at signing and $1,000 per year for 5 subsequent
years.

2.  The Home Run:  For the power hitting sponsor, the Home Run entitles you to a
double-sided 4’ x 8’ sign displayed on the Parking Fence or on the Home Run
Fence.  First time buyers are charged $650 and a renewal of $300 for subsequent
year.
